Tree Planting in Tamworth

President Simon Guest of the Rotary Club of Tamworth West is looking for volunteers from Cluster 6 clubs and and interested Rotarians and volunteers for the tree planting project at Chauvel Park.

7-8th October @ 8.30am - Planting 250 trees. Holes will be dug by Council. We are to install 250 trees supplied by Council & backfilled. Please bring a shovel. The more people we have on the day, the quicker the job will be.

Cost: Registration is $25 which includes lunch on both days and afternoon and morning tea.

How to register: Club Secretaries have the Registration Form which is also available on the District Website (go to the Calendar and click on the PRE PETS dates).

To assist with catering, Registration Forms must be returned to the District Secretary by Friday 17 November.

Wingham Rotary is holding it’s charity golf day again this year on October 29th at Wingham Golf Club. 

Last year we had around 60 players and hoping for 80+ this year.
